Running late? Here’s what to do

Our boats can’t hold departure — but the sooner you reach us, the more we can do to help.

The procedure

📞 Call us the moment you know

1. Call 786-254-5203 right away — before departure we can tell you if boarding is still possible.
2. Check-in happens right on the dock in front of the boat with your boarding crew — timing and directions are in your booking confirmation. The safety briefing starts at the scheduled departure time — once it ends, the boat leaves the dock.
3. If you miss the boat, stay reachable and keep in touch by phone — our team will let you know if courtesy standby on a later departure is possible — subject to availability, never guaranteed, and not a new reservation.

Marketplace bookings

🌐 Booked on GetYourGuide, Viator, Airbnb or Expedia?

The same arrival rules apply to every booking. Refunds and date changes for marketplace bookings must be requested through the platform you booked on and follow that platform’s policy — we do not offer refunds outside of the policies of the platform you booked through, so please review them when you book.

Still — always call or message us the moment you’re running late, so our crew can try to help before the boat departs.

The full policies

Every guest must complete and sign a waiver before boarding. No waiver = no boarding. The waiver link is included in your booking confirmation — completing it in advance keeps check-in quick and easy.

  • All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
  • All private bookings are final and non-refundable.
  • Tickets cannot be rescheduled, transferred, or extended due to late arrival, no-show, or missed departure (see Section 3).
  • Bookings made through a marketplace partner (GetYourGuide, Viator, Airbnb, Expedia and others) are also governed by the booking and cancellation policies of the platform you booked through — please be sure to review them when you book. We honor those policies and do not offer refunds outside of them.

No hidden fees: pricing includes taxes, fuel, and standard shared-trip pickup and drop-off. The only item not included in your ticket price is the required crew gratuity (see Section 6), collected in cash at boarding.

PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME.

Arrival & departure

  • Guests are responsible for arriving on time and ready to board for their scheduled departure.
  • Our boats operate on a fixed schedule and cannot delay departure for late-arriving guests. Delaying one departure can affect other scheduled bookings and guests throughout the day.
  • Our crew will make a reasonable effort to contact guests who have not arrived. Typically, guests may receive a phone call approximately 3–4 minutes before the scheduled departure time as a final courtesy reminder.
  • This call is not guaranteed and does not extend the scheduled departure time. Guests remain responsible for arriving on time regardless of whether they receive a call.
  • Check-in instructions and timing are provided in your booking confirmation.

Safety briefing & departure

  • The required safety briefing begins at the scheduled departure time.
  • Once the Captain completes the safety briefing, the boat will depart the dock.
  • Guests who have not arrived and boarded by that time may be left behind so the vessel can maintain its scheduled departure.

Missed departures

The following are treated as a no-show and result in a forfeited ticket — guests who:

  • Arrive after the vessel has departed
  • Arrive too late to complete boarding
  • Miss their scheduled departure due to transportation, parking, traffic, or other personal reasons
  • Fail to arrive for their scheduled booking

Standby assistance

When a departure is missed, our team may offer standby assistance on a later departure. Standby:

  • Is provided as a courtesy
  • Is subject entirely to availability
  • Does not constitute a new confirmed reservation or ticket
  • Does not guarantee boarding on a later departure
  • May require the guest to wait until availability can be confirmed

Marketplace bookings (GetYourGuide, Viator, Airbnb, Expedia)

The same arrival, missed-departure and no-show rules apply to bookings made through any marketplace platform. Refund or change requests for marketplace bookings must be submitted through the platform where the booking was made and are governed by that platform’s policies. Courtesy standby is still offered where availability allows — contact us directly as soon as you know you are running late. We abide by the policies of the vendor you booked through — please be sure to review them when booking, as we do not offer refunds outside of those policies.

Guest conduct regarding missed departures

  • Our staff and crew must be treated respectfully. Abusive, threatening, intimidating, or disrespectful behavior toward our employees or crew will not be tolerated.
  • Attempts to pressure staff into issuing a refund by threatening negative reviews, chargebacks, social media posts, or other retaliation will not change the missed-departure policy or make a guest eligible for a refund.
  • We are happy to assist whenever possible, but late arrival does not transfer responsibility for the missed departure to our crew, office staff, Captain, marina, or other guests.

Alcohol is welcome only when consumed responsibly. A valid government-issued photo ID is required to receive a drinking wristband; guests without valid ID will not be permitted to consume alcohol.

  • No underage drinking — zero exceptions.
  • Excessive intoxication may result in removal & cancellation without refund.
  • Smoking & vaping
  • Illegal drugs
  • Glass containers
  • Hard liquor
  • Red wine — it stains the deck
  • Jet ski rentals
  • Getting on another boat while anchored
  • Switching vessels or interacting with other watercraft during the trip
  • For shared trips, $10 per guest is collected at boarding (cash), while private trip gratuities vary based on the selected boat and trip duration.
  • This gratuity is separate from ticket pricing.

Trips run rain or shine. Your Captain continuously monitors:

  • weather and radar
  • sea conditions
  • marine traffic
  • other real-time safety factors

If we cancel a trip for weather or safety, you rebook free on any available future date.

Every trip is operated by a licensed Captain with full authority over the vessel and itinerary. To keep everyone safe and comfortable:

  • destinations may change
  • anchor locations may change
  • routes may adjust due to conditions
  • travel time and water time may vary based on real-time circumstances

The Captain and crew may deny boarding or remove guests for:

  • unsafe behavior
  • excessive intoxication
  • refusal to follow rules or crew direction

No refunds will be issued in these cases.

Families are welcome on our family-friendly departures and private charters.

  • Guests under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
  • Every guest counts toward vessel capacity — including children and infants.
  • U.S. Coast Guard–approved life jackets are available for all guests and must be worn whenever the Captain or crew directs, including by children as required.
  • No underage drinking — see Section 4.

We occasionally photograph and film our trips for marketing — our website, brochures and social media. By boarding, guests consent to the reasonable use of trip imagery in which they may appear.

Prefer not to appear? No problem — just tell your boarding crew before departure, or contact us afterwards and we will remove any photo that features you.

You are on a boat — things get wet and things go overboard!

  • Guests are responsible for their own belongings at all times, on the vessel and at the dock.
  • We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items, including water damage to phones and electronics.
  • Found something missing after your trip? Call us — our crew checks the vessel after every departure and we’ll do our best to reunite you with your item.

Every charter includes coolers, ice, cups, water and soda. BYOB food and drinks are welcome, subject to the onboard rules in Section 5 (no glass containers, no hard liquor, no red wine).

Pre-ordered packages & add-ons — catering, cakes, cupcakes, charcuterie boards, bar packages and similar items are purchased and prepared specifically for your booking. The exact items included in your package are listed in your booking confirmation and quote.

  • Unclaimed, unused, or uneaten food and beverages are non-refundable — no refunds or credits are issued for items not consumed, not claimed at boarding, or for guests who do not attend.
  • Food and beverage add-ons are finalized before your trip and cannot be reduced or refunded after the order deadline stated in your confirmation.
  • Allergies or dietary needs? Tell us when you book — we will do our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
  • You are welcome to take leftover packaged food with you at the end of your trip; anything left aboard is discarded when the vessel is cleaned.
